Friday: Core Work & Cocktails
7:00 AM – Lagree at MAD
There’s something empowering about kicking off the weekend on the Megaformer. I booked a 7AM class because I knew my night would be long, and I wanted to feel like I earned my weekend. The slow, controlled lunges had me shaking (in a good way), and I left the studio feeling strong and clear-headed.
12:00 PM – Matcha + Laptop at the Cafe
After class, I refueled with an iced matcha and almond butter toast from a favorite local spot. Fridays are still workdays, so I took my laptop and knocked out some emails. Staying productive keeps me from spiraling into weekend mode too early.
8:30 PM – Dinner + Drinks in Capitol Hill
I met friends at Tavolàta for pasta and a round of espresso martinis. I always drink a glass of water for every alcoholic drink (try it—it really helps), and I took Liquid I.V. before heading out. According to Cleveland Clinic, staying hydrated helps your body metabolize alcohol more efficiently—aka, fewer regrets tomorrow.
12:00 AM – Home & Skincare
Even if I get home late, I never skip my skincare routine. Cleanser, hyaluronic acid, and slugging with Aquaphor before bed. Sleep is part of wellness too.
Saturday: Slow Mornings & Social Sweats
10:30 AM – Sleep In + Coffee Walk
I let myself sleep without an alarm, then grabbed a cold brew and walked around Volunteer Park. No rushing, no plans—just movement and fresh air.
12:00 PM – Pilates Flow at Home
I didn’t feel like commuting to a class, so I did a 25-minute Lagree-inspired core flow using The Pilates Class. It wasn’t as intense as Solidcore, but it got my body moving and helped shake off the Friday night fog.
8:00 PM – Girls’ Night Out in Mayfair
We started at a rooftop bar for sunset drinks, then danced at a club until 1AM. I wore a workout romper as a base layer under my outfit—zero regrets. The extra support made me feel snatched and comfy all night. No shame in mixing fashion with function.
Sunday: Recovery & Rituals
11:00 AM – Hydration + Groceries
I chug water, make a protein smoothie, and walk to Trader Joe’s. I love Sunday mornings—they’re for reflecting, resetting, and restocking.
2:00 PM – Meal Prep + Journaling
I roast veggies, boil eggs, and prep salads for the week. Journaling helps me recenter before Monday. I jot down how my body felt, what I loved about the weekend, and what I want to focus on in the coming week.
5:00 PM – Face Mask + Netflix
By 5PM, it’s sweats, a clay mask, and catching up on Real Housewives. Wellness is more than workouts—it’s routines that recharge you emotionally, too.
This weekend was a little messy, very fun, and still balanced. You don’t have to pick between being the wellness girl or the nightlife queen. You can be both—with some planning, hydration, and grace.
